Short answers to the questions we hear most. Each one links to a full guide when there's more to say.

Which carriers does Conduit TEM work with?

Any carrier that sends you a bill. Conduit AI reads bills from mobile, internet, phone line and circuit providers without any setup, and gets better at your bills as it learns from your corrections. Carrier spreadsheet exports from Bell, Rogers and TELUS business portals are recognised and read directly, and other spreadsheets with a table of charges work too.

Which files can I upload?

PDF (best), CSV and XLSX carrier exports, and PNG or JPG photos and scans. Each file can be up to 25 MB, and you can upload 20 at a time. You can also email bills to your organization's bill inbox. See Your first bill and Your bill inbox.

How long does a bill take?

Usually under two minutes from upload to ready for review.

Do I have to check every bill?

No. Owners and admins can let Conduit AI post clean bills by itself when it's confident, under Settings → Organization → Approvals and auto-post. Bills with warnings, bills from a new account and bills above any approval threshold always wait for a person. The more bills you review, the more Conduit AI learns from your corrections. See Review and post a bill.

Is our data safe?

  • Your organization's data is kept apart from every other customer's, enforced in the database itself, not just in the screens.
  • Inside your organization, people see and change only what their role and their part of the company allow.
  • Two-step verification is required for every member of every organization. See Two-step verification.
  • Uploaded and emailed files are checked for type and size when they arrive, and shown in a way that nothing inside them can run.
  • Everything important is recorded under Settings → Activity: uploads, postings, invitations, role changes and settings changes. If Conduit staff ever open your organization to help you, that's recorded there too.
  • Your data is backed up nightly, with an encrypted copy kept off-site.

Who can see our bills?

Only the members of your organization, according to their roles. Viewers can look and export but change nothing; analysts and viewers can also be limited to one location or division. See Roles and permissions.

Is there a phone app?

Conduit TEM runs in your phone's web browser, with a layout made for small screens: a bottom bar for the main pages, a More sheet for the rest, and Take a photo on the upload page to photograph a paper bill. You can add it to your home screen from your browser's menu so it opens like an app. See Find your way around.

What does it cost?

Plans are priced by the number of lines and services you manage. Every new organization starts with a 30-day trial of the Pro plan with all paid features. After that it moves to the Free plan (up to 25 lines and services, one location and three users) unless you choose a plan. Bills by email and upload, the dashboard, the ready-made reports and findings on every bill are included on every plan, and bills that are already in always keep processing. See prices and plans under Settings → Plan & billing, or read Plans and billing.

Which currencies are supported?

Your organization reports in Canadian dollars (CAD) or US dollars (USD). New organizations start in CAD; owners and admins change it under Settings → Organization.

Can I bring in history from another system?

Yes. Owners and admins can import past spend and inventory from another expense management tool or from spreadsheets under Settings → Import data, so trends and checks work from your first bill. See Import your history.

Can I get my data out?

Yes. Lists such as Bills have an Export CSV button, each bill has Export lines, and reports export too. See Exports.

Can I belong to more than one organization?

Yes. Switch between them from the organization menu at the top of the sidebar. You can own up to three organizations, and be invited into others.

How do I get help?

Look for the Learn more links on pages throughout the app, open this Help centre from the question mark at the top of any page, or contact our team. When something goes wrong with a bill, our team is notified automatically.
